Earl Grey Tea

A traditional tea enjoyment: Earl Grey - a black tea blend with fine bergamot oil. Traditionally the oil of the bergamot orange is added to create the Earl Grey blend. Bergamot is a hybrid of lime and bitter orange. The tea is named after Charles Viscount Howick, 2nd Earl Grey, who was the British prime minister in the beginning of the 1830's. 1833 he cancelled out the trade monopoly of the East India Company.
